Welcome to another academic year. What with global economic meltdown, natural disasters all over the place the last year is best left.
Reading the Daily express front page today I have noted we shall be having several weeks of storms followed by a big freeze - good work Daily Express - not even the met Office are that confident about future weather.
Good news that berrow dunes have been stabilised by sea Buckthorn according to a recent report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-somerset-14764148 just a shame that it means all you A2 students will have to physically cut a path over the dunes. A few years ago a student did their A2 fieldwork on Berrow and his solution to lack of access was to cut the dunes down with a chainsaw so I shall order some in for the trip.
Big news coming up on the Geography AS residential.
